Deron Brill Bergstresser
Deron became a pastor at Faith in 2003. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, where he was lucky enough to meet Annette. They’ve been married for 15 years and have two daughters. Before coming to the Midwest, Deron was on the pastoral staff at Zion Mennonite Church in his home community of Souderton, Pennsylvania. Deron loves music, drama and conversations about theology, spirituality and biblical studies. He teaches private drum lessons, plays music whenever he can, and occasionally appears on stage in community theater productions. Running, hanging out with his family, banging on the drums, and reading fantasy and sci-fi novels are ways Deron likes to have fun.
Kay joined Deron as co-pastor in 2006. She and her family have been part of the congregation since 1997. Kay has a Master in Social Work and a Master of Divinity. Both of these inform her pastoral work. She has been married to Jamey for over 30 years and they have three sons. She was born in Yoder, Kansas, and later lived in Archbold, Ohio. She and Jamey have lived in Indianapolis and Goshen. Kay had a floral business in Goshen for 10 years while their boys were young. She is an avid gardener and likes reading, taking walks with friends and sitting on the porch swing with Jamey late in the evening.
